Mounting with a Rally Tower

A rally tower provides optimal convenience and equipment protection in demanding off-road conditions. Depending on your tower setup, choose the appropriate mounting method:

  • 12 mm GPS bar: Compatible with the AMPS Base Bracket or the Short Bracket 12.
  • Mounting plate with holes: Typically uses M4 or M5 bolts matching the AMPS 38 x 30 mm pattern. We recommend installing the Antivibration Adapter. No extra brackets are required; attach the Lightweight Holder directly to the plate using M5 screws.

Mounting Without a Rally Tower

If your motorcycle does not have a rally tower, choose from the following mounting configurations:

  • Mini cockpit: The recommended solution. Provides weather protection via an integrated windshield. Install the Antivibration Adapter between the cockpit and the tablet holder.
  • Handlebar clamp: Mounts directly to the handlebar clamp bolts. Note: Requires replacing the Lightweight Holder's default M5 threaded back plate with an M4-compatible plate.
  • Short bracket 28: Attaches the Lightweight Holder directly to the center of 28 mm (tapered) handlebars. For 22 mm (7/8") handlebars, use this bracket together with the diameter reduction insert.
  • Short bracket 12 / AMPS base bracket: For handlebars equipped with a 12 mm crossbar.
  • Medium bracket: Adds an elevated 12 mm GPS mounting bar attached to the handlebars. Requires the AMPS Base Bracket to attach the holder.

Warning: Operating the tablet without adequate protection (such as a windshield that shields the device from direct water flow) significantly increases the risk of damage. We strongly advise using a proper windshield or extension to ensure device reliability.
