If you are selecting Carpe Iter navigation equipment for a Yamaha Ténéré 700 (T700), component selection depends on the model year and dashboard configuration of your motorcycle.

MY 2025 – Present (Asymmetrical TFT)

The 2025+ generation features reinforced fairings and does not require the full bracket assembly used on earlier models. Mounting options include:

• Stabilizer: To stiffen the stock GPS bar when carrying a tablet, use the stabilizer.
• Mounting Bracket: The Short bracket 12 mounts the tablet holder directly onto the stock 12mm GPS bar.

MY 2022 – 2024 (Color TFT Dashboard)

• Dedicated Bracket: A reinforced mounting platform engineered specifically for this generation: Yamaha Tenere 700 GPS Bracket – Carpe Iter Shop.
• Power Connection: Connect the setup to the bike's auxiliary wiring harness using either a 2-pin or 3-pin power cable.

  Note on connector selection: If you have no existing electrical accessories connected to the auxiliary port, either cable is compatible. If existing accessories occupy a connector, choose the cable type matching your remaining open port.

• Protection & Vibration Damping:
  • To ensure adequate clearance for the tablet, installing the Windshield Adjuster elevates the stock windshield without requiring an aftermarket screen.
  • An Antivibration adapter is recommended to protect the device from engine and trail vibration.

Bracket Compatibility for Specific Crash Bars:

• Original Yamaha: Frame mount
• SW-Motech: Frame mount
• HEED: Frame mount
• Outback Motortek: Mask mount
• Adventure Spec: Frame mount

MY 2019 – 2022 (Monochrome LCD)

• Uses the same primary bracket as the 2022–2024 models. A secondary set of screws is included in the package to accommodate the cockpit dimensions of this generation.
