Overview
The 2025 Yamaha Ténéré 700 is incompatible with previous-generation mounting brackets. While the factory front plastics have been reinforced to support standard smartphones, larger navigation tablets require additional structural support. The Carpe Iter stabilizing strut provides this necessary reinforcement to eliminate flex and vibration.

Installation Procedure
- Remove the 6 screws securing the windshield.
- Remove the factory M6 screw securing the LCD display from the front of the motorcycle.
- Prepare the central M6x40 screw with the strut, washers, and spacer, then insert it into the central LCD mounting hole from the front.
- Align the strut's side holes with the rubber nuts located in the bike's GPS bracket arms. Insert M5 screws into the rubber nuts from the LCD side to secure the strut in position.
- Tighten the central M6x40 screw.
Important: The strut is engineered to reduce vibration and flex in the plastic assembly. Do not overtighten. The nylon washers and mounting grooves are designed to permit controlled movement during an impact to prevent fairing damage.
- Reinstall the windshield and secure it using the bottom 4 screws in the headlight area. Tighten fully.
- On one side, insert an M5 screw with a washer into one of the top holes from the windshield side and tighten progressively. Insert a washer between the rubber nut and the strut before fully tightening to secure the windscreen.
- Install an additional washer onto the end of the M5 screw and secure it with the M5 nut.
- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.
Compatibility & Disclaimer
- Compatibility: Does not fit the 2026 World Raid version due to its taller windshield configuration.
- Intended Use: This stabilizing strut is designed for adventure and trail riding. For dedicated rally racing or extreme off-road use, a full navigation tower remains recommended.
