How do I order and set up CARPE ITER products for my Ténéré 700?
If you have a Yamaha Ténéré 700 and need help selecting the right products, please refer to the following guidelines. The selection differs depending on the year of manufacture:
MY 2025 - present (asymmetrical TFT)
This generation doesn't fit the 2022-2024 bracket, but also, the fairings were reinforced, so there's no longer a need for such an extensive solution. Therefore, we developed a stabilizer to add some stiffness to the stock GPS bar when used with a tablet. The Short bracket 12 fits well to mount the tablet holder to the stock GPS bar.
MY 2022 - 2024 (TFT dashboard)
- We developed a sturdy bracket for this model specifically. It provides a secure platform for mounting navigation devices: Yamaha Tenere 700 GPS Bracket – Carpe Iter Shop
- Power cable 2-pin or 3-pin will connect it all to the bike's wiring.
- If you have no electrical accessories, both will work. If you have any electrical accessories installed in this connector, then you need to get the cable matching your available connector.
- To protect the tablet fully it is recommended to use a Windshield Adjuster which raises the stock windshield. An aftermarket windshield is not necessary. Also, an Antivibration adapter will add protection to the device.
Bracket compatibility for specific crash bars:
Original Yamaha - Frame mount SW-motech - Frame mount HEED - Frame mount Outback Motortek - Mask mount Adventure Spec - Frame mount
MY 2019 - 2022 (black and white LCD)
- May use the same bracket as for 2022-2024, but with a few screws replaced. These are included in an extra bag in every set.
GENERAL PARTS - necessary for all the bikes above:
- CI Pad
- Holder
- Power source
- Controller
