Are CARPE ITER controllers compatible with DMD2?
Yes, CARPE ITER controllers are currently compatible with DMD2. While compatibility is not something we can directly control, we can confirm that the DMD2 application works well with our controllers at this time.
Pre-requisite: Carpe Iter remote controller is paired with our companion software - the NGH (Next-gen HUD). NGH ensures that the controller is configured correctly for keycodes the DMD2 app is listening to. You can check more deatails about NGH also here.
The default Carpe Iter controller configuration corresponds to the default DMD2 keycodes. For details of the default controller profile, you can refer here.
If you would like to re-map functions for DMD2 to a different button on the controller, please use the configuration interface within NGH, NOT the configuration within DMD2 (if you change the default keycodes within DMD2, it will create a chaotic situation that will be very difficult to debug.
