If Caretta does not start up after pressing and holding the power button for 6 seconds, the internal battery is completely depleted.
Under normal circumstances, simply connecting a suitable USB charger to the USB-C port will automatically boot Caretta and begin charging.
Restoring a Deeply Discharged Battery
If the battery is deeply discharged, the remaining voltage may be too low for the internal charging circuitry to initialize charging automatically.
To restore charging:
- Connect Caretta to a USB power source.
- Wait 30 seconds (do not press any buttons during this time).
- Press the power button once.
Caretta will initialize its charging sequence. Initially, you will see a black screen displaying a battery charging symbol. Once the battery reaches a sufficient charge level, you can power on the system as usual.
