How to install BMW Control on the BMW R1300 GS/GSA

Installation Overview

The connector socket for the BMW Control (the same socket used for the BMW Navigator or BMW ConnectedRide Cradle) is located behind the motorcycle's front mask. Installing the BMW Control requires removing the windscreen and front mask to access the connector socket.

If your motorcycle is already fitted with a BMW Navigator Cradle or ConnectedRide Cradle, trace the cable from the cradle to locate the factory socket and plug the BMW Control directly into it.

Cradle Compatibility

BMW Navigator Cradle: The BMW Control is designed to replace the BMW Navigator Cradle. During the installation of the BMW Control, remove the BMW Navigator Cradle from your motorcycle.

BMW ConnectedRide Cradle: You can use the BMW Control alongside the BMW ConnectedRide Cradle. Because the BMW Control occupies the original factory socket, you must supply power to the ConnectedRide Cradle using our adaptor.
