What should I do if my CARPE ITER controller appears to be disconnected?

If you suspect that your controller is disconnected, you can verify its status through your device's Bluetooth manager. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Bluetooth Connection:

   • Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and check if the controller is listed.
   • If the controller is disconnected, ensure that it is powered on and verify that it is not connecting to another device you may have paired it with previously.

2. Controller Connected but Not Recognized:

   • If the Bluetooth manager indicates that the controller is connected but the Controller app claims otherwise, you may be experiencing a user interface issue within the app. This can sometimes happen after a firmware update.

3. Resolving Connection Issues:

   • When you receive a notification in the Controller app about the controller being disconnected, despite it being connected, follow these steps:
     • Click on the "BT MANAGER" button in the app. This will take you to the system Bluetooth device manager.
     • Unpair or "forget" the Carpe Controller from the list of connected devices. The exact terminology may vary depending on your operating system and device brand. 

4. Reconnecting the Controller:

   • After removing the Carpe Controller from the list of connected devices, restart the Controller app by swiping it away from the list of running applications and reopening it.
   • Follow the standard connection and pairing procedure to reconnect the controller.
