For installation of Terrain Command Hub, please refer to the manual.

A. Assemble the Toggle Switch and bracket
Insert the Toggle Switch into the bracket body:
Please mind the locking elements:
Default position for the locking element is marked in the graphics:
Secure the Toggle Switch by screwing the cap onto the Toggle Switch thread:
At this point only tighten lightly by hand – you might want to reposition the Toggle Switch later.
B. Handlebar installation
1. Place the Toggle Switch bracket onto the handlebar and secure in place by the Terrain Command Nylon Buttons:
Only tighten the screws lightly at this point – you might want to reposition the assembly later.
2. Sit on your bike and find an angle, that lets you use both the Nylon Buttons and the Toggle switch comfortably.
You can adjust the axis along which the toggle moves. The Toggle Bracket is designed to allow for operating the Toggle “up and down” (more of a traditional way for analog rally setups) or “back and forth” (more ergonomic way): 3. Tighten the screws holding the Toggle Switch bracket and Nylon Buttons together
⚠️ Do not exceed 0,5 Nm.
4. Tighten the Toggle Switch cap
⚠️
Do not exceed 0,5 Nm.
5. Route cables to avoid interference with clutch and other essential controls on your handlebar. Secure cables in place with a zip tie.
Make sure the connectors are near the Terrain Command Hub before you tighten the zip ties.
C. Connecting to the Terrain Command Hub
⚠️ Make sure you mate the connectors in the correct orientation – the connectors have locking elements to ensure correct installation:
Especially in case the connectors will be covered by your motorcycle fairings after installation, it is recommended that you use mild thread locking glue (e.g. Loctite). Especially on singles, the connectors could become undone due to vibrations.
1. If you only use 1 section of the Nylon Buttons and 1 Toggle Switch:
- Connect Buttons to port BNT1 on the Terrain Command Hub
- Connect the Toggle Switch to port BNT2 the Terrain Command Hub
2. If you use 2 Toggle Switches, you will need the Adapter for the Terrain Command for each Nylon Button Section. If you use one Nylon Button Section, you will need 1x Adapter. If you will use two Nylon Button Section, you will need 2x adapter:
- Connect the Adapter to the BTN1/BTN2 port on the Terrain Command Hub
- Connect Nylon Button section to the Adapter
- Connect Toggle Switches to the Adapter
⚠️
Each Adapter can hold 1x Nylon Button section and 1x Toggle Switch. Never connect both Nylon Button sections to the same Adapter. Never connect both Toggle Switches to the same Adapter.
3. Test the Nylon Buttons and Toggle Switches function before you re-assemble your bike: connect power to the Terrain Command HUB and press each button / toggle. Upon each press, the status LED on the Terrain Command Hub will change color.

If LED doesn’t signal a button / toggle was pressed, check that you connected all cables correctly and all connectors are mated properly. Retest.
Mechanical installation is now complete!
D. Software – preparation for use
Now that we have all the hardware set it is time to connect it to the tablet/phone wirelessly.
Connecting Terrain Command III
Open the NGH app, go to Settings – Controller. If you paired your Terrain Command previously, just select it in the list:
If this is the first time you are connecting your Terrain Command, click on Pair new controller:
Available controllers will appear automatically, so you can select yours. Follow on-screen instructions.
Configuring Toggle Switch
Enable Toggle Switch function in the Controller Settings (showing setup with 2 Toggle Switches. If you only use 1 Toggle Switch, select just one appropriate option):
Default controller configuration does not assign any function to the Toggle Switch, except for Terrapirata (bound to roadbook scroll).
Select or modify Toggle Switch basic function in the Controller configuration – Global Settings:
You can modify Toggle Switch function also individually for each supported application.
Example for Terrapirata:
Settings for specific application override the Global Settings when you open the respective app – no need for user intervention.
E. Final and most important step - ride and enjoy!
