The original silicone gasket can be replaced with a microporous rubber gasket supplied with the kit or provided by Carpe Iter Support (now modificications are needed on kits dispatched on June 5th 2026 or later - those kits already include updated Cradle parts to ensure bulletproof Caretta connectivity):
1. Remove the original silicone part.
2. Prepare the new microporous adhesive rubber seal.
3. Put it in place carefully (it tends to anything).
4. Press it firmly into place, and you're done!
