If you have the accessibility shortcut enabled, then you can accidentally turn off the Carpe controller app by touching the accessibility symbol next to the "back", "home" and "open apps" buttons. If you are using a device with a navigation bar, then you might have this feature linked to a gesture, or a combined button press. If your controls suddenly stop working, it is most probably because of this.
This feature can be useful though. Disabling the CARPE Accessibility Service can increase your battery life.
Your accessibility feature might be on, but being restricted by your device. Please check these settings to make sure your device is not blocking the feature. Long press the app and go to app info, and make sure that your settings look like this:
Please keep in mind, that some of these settings may require restarting the device to actually change.
