Lawnchair Keeps Stopping on Android 9

If the Lawnchair launcher repeatedly crashes or stops responding on Android 9, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Change the default home application to Drive Mode Dashboard (DMD) as shown in this video.
2. In DMD, open the Google Play Store and search for Lawnchair 2.
3. Install and open Lawnchair 2.
4. When prompted to select a home application, two identical Lawnchair options will appear. Select the second option (the newly installed version). If the older, unconfigured version is selected, repeat the selection process.
5. Change the default home application back to Lawnchair using the procedure outlined in step 1.
