Do I Have to Use DMD2 on CI Pad?

No. DMD2 is included as a pre-installed application and default launcher on CI Pad, but you are free to use any navigation app or launcher of your choice. Here is a video guide demonstrating how to disable DMD2 as the default Home screen launcher.

Changing the Default Home Launcher

1. Open System Settings (swipe down twice from the top of the screen to expand the notification shade, then tap the small cogwheel icon).
2. Search for Home in the search bar (or the equivalent word if using a different system language) and select Home app from the results.
3. Tap Home app and change the selection from DMD2 to Lawnchair (the standard Android launcher) or your preferred launcher.

Alternative Menu Path: If search is unavailable, navigate to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Home app and select Lawnchair.

Once changed, DMD2 will behave like any standard app—it will run only when manually launched, and pressing the Home button will return you to the standard home screen.
