Power Source Doesn't Work

Operating Specifications: Correct operation of both the black and red units is indicated by an active green LED when input voltage exceeds 13.4V. Both white output connectors should supply 5.5V.

Defects out of the box are extremely rare. If your unit is not operating as expected, verify the following checklist:

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Test with the Engine Running: Ensure the motorcycle engine is running during testing so the charging system can reach operational voltage.
  2. Verify Input Voltage: Confirm that the power supply delivery to the unit is 13.4V or higher.
  3. Check Wiring Polarity: Confirm correct positive and negative connections. If polarity is reversed, the unit will not power on.
  4. Inspect the Motorcycle Electrical System: Verify that the motorcycle battery and charging system are healthy and functioning under load.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please contact Carpe Iter technical support and provide your measurement findings.
