It is extremely rare the power source to be defective out of the box. The correct operation of both the black and red unit is indicated by the green LED shining when the power delivery exceeds 13,4V. Both of the output white connectors should provide 5,5V. In case your experience is different, please check the following:
- You test it with the engine on
- The polarity is correct. If it's reversed, it acts like it was dead.
- The motorcycle battery and electrical system is in a good condition
- The power delivery is the mentioned 13,4V or more.
