Handlebar Compatibility
All Carpe Iter controllers are designed to fit standard handlebar tubes with an outer diameter of 22 mm (7/8").
Required Handlebar Space
- Adventure Control: Requires a minimum of 22 mm of straight handlebar width.
- Terrain Command: Requires a minimum of 18 mm of straight handlebar width.
Recommended Mounting Position & Clearance
Mount the controller between the handlebar grip and the stock switch cluster. This placement allows comfortable thumb operation while maintaining full control of the handlebars.
Note on Lever Clearance: On some motorcycle setups, placing the controller adjacent to the grip may restrict the travel of the clutch or brake lever. If clearance is limited, adjust the position of the lever perch on the handlebar or use an aftermarket lever with a different bend/profile.
