Transferring Settings During Android 13 Update
During the beta test of our Android 11 to Android 13 update, the tablet will reset to factory settings, and you will be prompted to complete the new user setup. One of the steps offers the option to transfer settings from your personal phone to the tablet.
Please note that transferring settings can unintentionally bring over certain features, including the screen lock from your phone. One user reported confusion after their tablet required a screen lock, which they didn't recall setting on the new device, nor on the old one.
Recommendation: We strongly advise not transferring any settings from your phone during the setup. Since this feature is managed by Android, we cannot predict all the settings or data that may be transferred. To avoid potential issues, it's best to set up the tablet from scratch.
