If your CI Pad doesn't charge, It is due to the charging circuitry being burnt. This happens for two main reasons:
- You accidentally switched the polarity of the cables between the power source and the Pad, either by splicing the cables or attempting to shorten the cables. This can break the circuitry instantly after plugging in. Reversing the polarity back will not fix the issue, as the circuitry is already burnt.
- You bypassed the power source and sent too high of a voltage to the charging port, this can happen either via the M8 cable and pogo pins, or by using a different USB charger, than was supplied in your order. This can also instantly destroy the charging circuitry
Both of these issues are understood to void your warranty. They cannot be solved remotely and you will have to send your unit in for repairs. If you are experiencing this problem, file a support ticket. You will be asked to send in your CI Pad and the power source, that was used before the malfunction occured.
